About the Course
An avanced group course for a maximum of 6 candidates, run over 2 days. You can choose from three courses, A, B or C. Each course covers it's own modules, all with an advance lens. Please see the main page for full details of the courses and modules.
In this Course A, you'll cover two modules - learning styles and emotional resonance. Diving into the core ways humans perceive and process information, and how to represent these in your talk, go hand in hand with connecting to your audience through emotional resonance. This covers the relationship between talk content and audience engagement.
Advanced courses are for more experienced speakers who feel they have a good grasp of the basics of public speaking, including voices tools, body language and the basics of fear management and audience work. The most natural progression with The Talking Game, would be to complete a L2 (intermediate) course before taking on an advanced course.
Running over 1 day for 6 hours, this course has limited time to workshop the theory, though it will be fun, interactive and designed to broaden your comfort zone. If you feel you'd benefit from more time to put the theory into practice, please see the 2 day version of this course.
